Khon Kaen Church welcomes all brothers and sisters. You go to worship in the month of evangelization of the Lord Christ and the month in which we will properly learn about discipleship. The Christian life is a life that requires continuous and consistent learning and growing in Him in every respect. Proclaiming the gospel of the Lord Christ and making disciples go hand in hand is appropriate.

“25 Many people went with him. So he turned around and said to him, 26“If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, children and wives, and brothers and sisters even his own life that person cannot be my disciple. 27 Whoever does not take up his cross and follow me that person cannot be my disciple. 28 For which of you desires to build a building? will not sit down and think about the price first Will there be enough to successfully build it? 29 Lest that after rooting and unable to succeed All those who saw him would ridicule him, 30 saying, 'This man started but it cannot be accomplished.' 31 Or is there any king to go to war with another king? Won't he sit down and think first? that he had ten thousand soldiers Will it be able to fight with the army that has come to fight for twenty thousand or not? 32 If you can't fight when still apart will use the ambassadors to ask for goodwill 33 Just like that All of you who have not given up all that you have cannot be my disciples.” Luke 14:25-33

In this Scripture, if we look closely, we will understand that discipleship is a dynamic process that continues from the Lord. The main driving force is the love of the Lord that is deeply rooted in the life of the believer. Scriptures are often spoken In the Christian life it is like a salt to maintain its saltiness and like a light to shine upon the Lord Christ into the world. Paul also preached to Timothy in this regard.

“1 Therefore, my son Be strengthened in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 Deliver those teachings which he heard from me in the presence of many witnesses to the faithful who can also teach others.” 2 Timothy 2:1-2

We all agree that discipleship is a difficult and difficult task. It is hard work and it pays a very high price. We all admit that it is very difficult to do, but it is not impossible if we rely on the Lord's power. What we should be aware of when making disciples is

(1) Discipleship takes a long time.

that cannot be determined and predictable in each person In each locality, on different occasions, the Lord commands us to go all over the world. He teaches us to take advantage: “Take advantage of opportunities, for today are bad times.” Ephesians 5:16 Make the best use of our limited time in His ministry. Sometimes the seeds of the Lord's gospel may not be fruitful during our lifetimes, perhaps. But we should continue to convey our visions and burdens faithfully and in the fear of the Lord. Fruitfulness is the Lord's ministry in His time alone.

(2) Discipleship has many obstacles.

both from internal and external factors We must overcome the needs of our own flesh, the system of the world, the many evil spirits of Satan. “Sure tribulation with the good soldiers of Jesus Christ.” 2 Timothy 2:3 When we sow the good, there are those who sow the bad. The Lord teaches us to be patient and trust in Him. which the Scriptures have clearly taught us as follows:

“38 And that field is the world. But the good seed is the citizens of the kingdom of God. but the tares are the citizens of the devil. 39 The enemy who sows the evil seed is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age. and the reaper is an angel. 40 So how do they gather the tares and burn them in the fire? So it will be at the end of the era. 41 The Son of Man will send his ambassadors out to clean up everything that leads them astray. and those who do evil from your land 42 and will throw it into the fiery furnace There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 At that time the righteous will shine in his father's land like the sun. Whoever has ears, let him hear." Matthew 13:38-43

His servants have to stand firm and faithful in their ministry continually and put fruit in his hands.

(3) Humility and learning and receiving the power that comes from Him is essential in the discipleship ministry.

Paul had this experience in making disciples.

“And I am glad to give up all my strength for you. when I love you more and more Will you love me less?” 2 Corinthians 12:15

and Paul also said,

“Therefore, my dear brethren, Be steadfast, do not be moved, always abounding in the work of the Lord. You know that by the Lord Your deeds are of no use." 1 Corinthians 15:58

Do our mission with all your heart, with all your life, with all your strength.

“If any one speaks let them speak as one speaks the proverbs of the Lord. If anyone does the service then serve according to the strength which God has given you. that God may be glorified in all things through jesus christ To him be glory and power forever and ever, Amen.” 1 Peter 4:11

which we have also experienced in Peter's life. humble to learn new things rely on Him always and forever.

Discipleship Evangelization is a long-term work. Many obstacles can be overcome by relying on your power.
